Literacy Volunteers - Chippewa Valley helps adults and their families develop the literacy skills necessary to achieve economic self-sufficiency and function effectively in their roles as citizens, workers and family members.

Literacy Volunteers - Chippewa Valley will provide creative, cost-free services to 1,000 adults and their families by 2010 through provision of an exemplar model for literacy excellence and maximizing strong community partnerships with an ultimate goal of adult students becoming lifelong learners and active community members.
